Divisions of Progress, for piano, computer, and any five instruments

Five performers each choose their favorite audio track to be randomized and returned as audible cues throughout the work. The audience hears a series of shifting audio rumbles, from the speakers underneath the piano, as the ensemble shifts through a mental barrage of changing instructions for five short musical game structures. This is the second installation of the Black Brave Ocean series. This is the stunning premiere performance by the Bang on a Can Festival Fellows.
