The LINKS Series of Vibraphone Essays

My recent (and on-going) solo project includes nearly two solid hours of solo vibraphone repertoire, one of the absolute masterpieces of our percussion catalog, Stuart Saunders Smith's LINKS Series of Vibraphone Essays. After the release, Stuart and I were discussing the work as a whole. Not eleven parts (written over 20 years), but one single, coherent work. Start to finish. The next step, we agreed, is for the entire work to be performed by one percussionist without break... I gladly volunteered.
